Lyv X is a visual artist born in Gama (Federal District, Brazil) and based in São Miguel Paulista, São Paulo. She studies Art History at UNIFESP and works across painting, audiovisual media and digital art.

Her practice reflects on the existence and intersectional experiences of Black bodies in Brazil, creating dialogues between portraits of peripheral subjects and techniques such as watercolor and acrylic painting.

She has participated in exhibitions at Museu das Favelas and Funarte SP, exhibited at A Gentil Carioca gallery (Rio de Janeiro), and developed digital works for international human rights organizations including Front Line Defenders and AOTA.
