PFS 01: Open Call for Quebrada Artists

Pantanal Favela Studio (PFS) launches a global mapping for independent artists. Applications open until February 8th.

Pantanal Favela Studio (PFS) reaffirms its mission to de-hierarchize the contemporary art market starting from the Quebrada. Following the impact of ACT II in the "Sangue nos Olhos" exhibition, we are initiating a movement of expansion: the PFS 01 Open Call for Quebrada Artists.

What are we looking for? We are mapping productions that tension the boundaries between the margins and the center. We seek artists whose works reflect the aesthetic and political power of territorial lived experience, transforming the favela experience into cutting-edge contemporary thought.

Why apply? PFS operates as a creative hub and a gallery that values ethical and transparent management. We will select artists to occupy our physical and digital spaces in a group exhibition scheduled for March 2026.

Timeline:
